Summer at the Shore
We welcome you to Beth Judah at the Shore. During the summer months when most synagogues quiet down, Beth Judah is your home away from home to enrich your souls and nourish your faith. We find different ways to enrich our summer through our wonderful Devotion by the Ocean Friday night service on the Newport Avenue beach in Ventnor at 6:00pm. The beautiful beach and ocean offer a moving backdrop to a service on the beach, where sometimes as many as 500 people join our community to help us to begin Shabbat together. This summer, we have scheduled services for July 12, August 2 and August 30.
In addition, we offer classes on a range of subjects, special speakers to enhance our knowledge of Judaism and the world. You can count on provocative discussion and existential moments of faith. There are opportunities to help one another and opportunities complete the work of Tikkun Olam, healing the world, and even some great meals.
By the way, there is something for everyone; your little ones are welcome to join our Summer Fun program for children ages 2 – 6 years old. Summer Fun offers a very active program of play, sport, and even a bit of learning about the world in Jewish ways.
We look forward to welcoming you into our family for the summer and even during the year. Please see our Latest News or Announcments.
